Hairy Henry is a very nice monster. He is called Hairy Henry because he is very hairy and green. Some people think he is quite handsome for a monster. He is usually very happy but one day last week he was very tired.

Henry Peludo es un monstruo muy amable. Lo llaman Henry Peludo porque tiene mucho pelo y es verde. Algunas personas creen que es bastante buen mozo para ser un monstruo. Normalmente se lo ve muy contento pero un día de la semana pasada se sintió agotado.

"I must have a holiday," he said. "I know, I’ll go and visit my cousin in London!"

"Tengo que tomarme vacaciones," dijo. "ya sé ¡iré a visitar a mi primo en Londres!"

So Hairy Henry bought a ticket and packed his bag ready for the holiday.

Así que Henry Peludo compró un pasaje y preparó su maleta para las vacaciones.

"Hmm, what shall I take? My passport, a guide book, my camera, my sunglasses, my shorts... that’s enough!"

"Hmm, ¿qué llevo? Mi pasaporte, a guía turística, mi cámara, mis gafas de sol, mis pantalones cortos... ¿con eso es suficiente!"

The next day Hairy Henry arrived at London airport. He got off the plane and took a train to the centre of the city.

Al día siguiente Henry Peludo llegó al aeropuerto de Londres. Se bajó del avión y tomó un tren al centro de la ciudad.

"I'll go and find my cousin," said Hairy Henry.

"Iré a buscar a mi primo," dijo Henry Peludo.

He walked around the city. There were lots of tall buildings and people everywhere. He looked up into the sky and saw Big Ben.

Dio vueltas por la ciudad. Había muchos edificios altos y gente por todas partes. Levantó a vista y vio el Big Ben.

"Ah, that's where he is," said Hairy Henry.

"Ah, allí es dónde está él," dijo Henry Peludo.

He went to the clock tower and climbed up the stairs. He was very tired when he got to the top. He looked at the clock face. It was five minutes to twelve.

Fue a la torre del reloj y subió las escaleras. Estaba muy cansado cuando llegó a la cima. Miró el cuadrante del reloj. Eran las doce menos cinco.

Suddenly a rather round, fat, purple body appeared. It was his cousin Ben. Now some people think that 'Big Ben' is the name of the clock. But we all know that 'Big Ben' is really Hairy Henry's cousin, the Clock Monster.

De pronto apareció un cuerpo algo redondeado, obeso, de color violeta. Era su primo Ben. Algunos creen que 'Big Ben' es el nombre del reloj. Pero todos sabemos que 'Big Ben' lo llaman en realidad al primo de Henry Peludo, el Monstruo del Reloj.

"Hello," said Ben. "What are you doing here?"
"I'm on holiday," said Hairy Henry.
"Hold on a minute," said Ben.

"Hola," dijo Ben. "¿Qué estás haciendo aquí?"
"Estoy de vacaciones," dijo Henry Peludo.
"Espera un minuto," dijo Ben.

He banged the huge metal bells twelve times. The noise was horrible. Hairy Henry couldn't hear anything else.

Golpeó doce veces las enormes campanas de metal. El ruido era espantoso. Henry Peludo no pudo oir más nada.

"OK," said Big Ben. "Let's go and see London!"

"De acuerdo," dijo Big Ben. "¡Vayamos a recorrer Londres!"

So Hairy Henry and Ben the Clock Monster went to visit London. First, they took a big, red double-decker bus along the road next to the river.

Entonces Henry Peludo y Ben el Monstruo del Reloj fueron a visitar Londres. Primero, tomaron un autobús grande y rojo de doble piso por la avenida junto al río.

"Look!" said Hairy Henry, "what's that?"
"That is where we are going," said Big Ben. "Come on!"

"¡Mira!" dijo Henry Peludo, "¿qué es eso?"
"Allí es adonde nos dirigimos," dijo Big Ben. "¡Vamos!"

It was a huge, round wheel in the sky. It went round and round. People could ride on the wheel and from the top they could see all of London.

Era una rueda aérea enorme y redonda. Daba vueltas y vueltas. La gente podía subir al rueda y desde la cima podía ver todo Londres.

Hairy Henry and Ben went to the top of the wheel.
"Wheee..." shouted Hairy Henry. "I can see the river, and the Palace... and the people look like ants! This is great!"

Henry Peludo y Ben fueron hasta la cima de la rueda.
"Guau..." gritó Henry Peludo. "Puedo ver el río y el Palacio... ¡y la gente parece hormigas! ¡Esto es fabuloso!"

But then the wheel started to go faster and faster.
"Aaagh! I feel sick."
Hairy Henry was usually a green colour, but now he went very pink. He felt very wobbly.

Pero entonces la rueda comenzó a ir cada vez más rápido.
"¡Aaajj! Estoy mareado."
Henry Peludo normalmente tenía un color verde pero ahora se estaba poniendo muy rosado. Se sentía muy tambaleante.
